Registration for the Henry Royce Institute Conference 2021 is now open

Join The Royce on 22 — 23 March for their flagship stakeholder conference focusing on the theme of advanced materials for a sustainable society.
Day 1 will focus on ‘Imaging & Characterisation’ and ‘Materials Modelling’ as cross-cutting themes for materials science as well as Royce’s current research landscape with parallel sessions on:
- Advanced Metals Processing
- Atoms to Devices
- Biomedical Materials
- Chemical Materials Discovery
- Electrochemical Systems
- Material Systems for Demanding Environments
- Nuclear Materials
- Two-Dimensional Materials
Contributions for 10-minute talks for the CMD, ES, MS4DE, and 2DM research area sessions are invited. Abstracts need to be submitted through the event registration by 25 Feb 2021.
Day 2 will have an outward focus, looking at the national research agenda and discussing challenges where materials can be used to develop sustainable solutions for:
- Degradation in structural materials for net-zero
- Materials 4.0
- Materials for Fusion
- Materials for the Hydrogen Economy
- Sustainable Packaging & Plastics
